Mr. Abdul Wahid "Rahimi"
President & Chief Executive Officer of Pashtany Bank

Mr. Abdul Wahid “Rahimi” holds Master degree in Economics and Finance from International Islamic University in the year 2012. He is a hardworking and visionary leader with more than a decade experience in banking sector of Afghanistan. He has worked in banking sector of Afghanistan in different positions such as; Accounting & Finance General Manager, Deputy CFO, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Operation Officer, and currently serving as CEO of Pashtany Bank, moreover he has worked as National Consultant on Tax with Adam Smith International. He is working hard in reshaping the bank in term of structural, strategic and operational spheres to potentially improve the performance and efficiency of the bank."

 

Mr. Lemar Rahmani "Stanikzai"
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mr. Lemar Rahmani Stanikzai has been working as a Chief Operations Officer at Pashtany Bank after successfully getting the approval of Da Afghanistan Bank. Mr. Stanikzai completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Kardan University. He is a professional banker having seven years of experience in commercial banking where he worked on different positions in Operation Department of the bank. His specialization is in retail banking, sales and marketing, relationship management, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), compliance and product development. During his extensive career, he held various positions including Teller, Deputy Branches Manager, General Manager Operations and Deputy Chief Operation Officer. He has passion for Business Development and Operational Excellence. His contribution to business development in operations, strategic planning, treasury management, revenue generation and marketing innovation has brought success to Pashtany bank in the market. In addition to this, Mr. Stanikzai worked with different organizations on senior level in the field of finance.Mr. Stanikzai represented Pashtany bank in different international meetings, seminars, and events.

 

Mr. Zabih "Akbari"
Chief Credit Officer (CCO)

Mr.Zabih Akbari is currently serving as the chief Credit officer at Pashtany bank.  Following the completion of his bachelor’s degree in the field of economics from Kabul University, Mr. Akbari pursued an MBA degree specializing in management from Kardan University of Afghanistan. Mr. Akbari has formerly worked as a senior financial and banking analyst in the office of the senior economic advisor to the president of Afghanistan for 2 years. Mr. Akbari has worked as a member of the Financial Supervision Department (FSD) at Da Afghanistan Bank for three years. During his tenure with Da Afghanistan Bank, Mr. Akabri had to bear the responsibility of financial evaluation and supervision of all commercial banks in Afghanistan. A key feature of his experience at this position has been the supervision and evaluation of the implementation of Basel committee standards in all banking institutions in Afghanistan. Thus, MR. AKbari bears immaculate competency, aptitude and proficiency in the banking sector in Afghanistan. Mr. Akbari has previously worked as a CRO of Pashtany bank in the year 2016-2020. Mr. Akbari has been able to successfully implement his immaculate understanding and knowledge of the financial and banking sector in Afghanistan within the scope of his authority at Pashtany bank. His contribution in developing foundational structure to Pashtany Bank’s Risk Management Department has been a key factor in implementing the Basel Committee of banking accord in Pashtany Bank.
